Leaving the City EP explores themes surrounding anxiety, the stagnation of day-to-day life, and the age old question – should I move to the country? Lush reverberating layers of guitars complement the sparse urgent drumming, making for an apprehensive yet eager performance. Drawing inspiration from shoegaze, post rock, and indie, Rival Territory pay homage to bands such as Yo La Tengo, Low, and Sleater Kinney.

The first single from the EP, ‘Enough is Enough’, is a jangly thump - a cry for help buried in a fuzz-pop gem. It is the first song Rival Territory ever wrote and wrestled into song form.
